Introduction

This learning module contains the material for the short introduction to LaTeX.

Use the links (GoTo) below to get to the respective content of the introduction.

Goal

After studying the material you should be able…

  • … to use a beamer and an article LaTeX template in general and…
  • … to integrate tables, figures, math expressions and citations in particular.

Approach

  1. Get familiar with the approach and the structure of LaTeX (see point 1 below).
  2. Download and install the necessary software to use LaTeX (see point 2 below).
  3. Get familiar with the syntax of LaTeX (see point 3 below).
  4. Compile, i.e., replicate, the article and beamer template provided under point 4 below.
